The Ferrovia 4.0 Project, in which FIT/ISEL is a partner, was presented as a flagship project at the Portugal Railway Summit 2021, an event that featured 1700 online participants from all over Europe. In this event, the planned investments for the next 10 years in the European railway were presented and, among the new trends, the digitalization of the railway infrastructure is identified as a key vector in the leveraging of the high speed railway.
