On March 6th, Professor José Simão joined the inaugural meeting of partners in the Alliance for Energy Transition (ATE) project at the Leixões port terminal.

The ATE initiative seeks to cultivate a structural ecosystem driving substantial changes in the energy sector, focusing on a coordinated, multidimensional approach to achieve carbon neutrality. Approximately 60% of the investment is earmarked for high TRL innovation, indicating technologies with advanced maturity and real-world applicability.

ISEL’s involvement centres on the sub-project within Work Package 4.2, known as Products, Processes, or Services (PPS) 18. This segment is dedicated to constructing a platform for operators and regulatory entities, facilitating decision-making in multimodal transportation systems. (Read more)
