ISEL / FIT has just received the news of the approval of the Ferrovia 4.0 (which can be translated to Railway 4.0) Mobilizer Project, which foresees a global investment of more than 10 million euros within the framework of the P2020 program dedicated to competitiveness clusters.
The Ferrovia 4.0 project will run for three years and ISEL / FIT will develop advanced multi-technology communications systems and IoT networks for the sensing of rolling stock and track, as well as the cybersecurity component and large-scale data processing.
ISEL / FIT has its activities focused on PPS2 (Maintenance), PPS3 (Management Platforms and Critical Safety Alerts) and PPS4 (Communications and Cybersecurity) of the Ferrovia 4.0 project.
