LoRaWAN in Lisbon

FIT/ISEL carried out a study on Long-Range Low-Power (LoRaWAN) usage for Smart Cities verticals that led the City Council of Lisbon to launch a tender that will provide Lisbon with a LoRaWAN wireless network. LoRa allows long-range connectivity for Internet of Things (IoT) devices such as urban waste bin occupancy measurement, gardening water management systems, etc. See more …
